Oh you need to hit the blue glowing orb to open the barrier. When carrying Lumi, Light's attack will shoot out a sword beam that can hit the blue orb from a distance.
Actually I didn't think about it when I designed the boss at that time, but that's a really cool idea! zero_gamer321 also mentioned it in the comment below.
Amazing game as always! But the controls... I'm not really used to the controls originally but as I went back to play the game again, I got used to it, but it will be a nice addition to do control binding (wait...have I said this before? Don't remember lol😂).
But overall it is a Stunning, and beautiful game, it actually reminded me of the days when I used to read books about a Hero of Light saving the world from darkness or an evil king or god and to be victorious in the end.

But I wonder? Where did the floating sentient or following sword was inspired from?
I dont know what is going on with my brain but when i saw the last boss in this game i saw the 3 colors balls in the sword and 2 of them make me think about 2 heros in Cross Strike And yes i mean Cross and Zeroth I mean the red ball in the sword is the same color of Zeroth and the blue one also is the same color of Cross Thats crazy tbh And i dont know if im right again but the yellow color make me thing that we will meet another guy in Cross Strike Part 2 and he will be like Cross and Zeroth Bro i swear my brain is burning

Oh So light will be helping them in part 2 Soo good I think it will be cool to make more missions in part 2 And when you finish every mission you can fight the last boss the sword But before you make the missions make a start mission were "Cross" And "Zeroth" Talk togather and meet "Light" Then They go to there base were they can select missions and there is only 4 missions or 8 idk, And you can add a boss in every mission when you end the mission you can fight him the boss have to be easier than the bosses in Cross Strike part 1 So And you can select who you want to use in the mission "Light, Cross, Zeroth" And everyone of them have his own skills and good at some thing like "Zeroth" Good at using sword and "Cross" Good at using gun That will be amazing really, I dont know what light is good at but i will think about it I hope i helped you a lil bit cuz i love all your games and want to make them the best games ever, And good luck making Cross strike part 2! -Your biggest fan Zero
one of the best games i have ever played especially for a game jam game if you make a full version i would buy it on steam maybe make some more abilities and add more storyline but still an amazing game
This was fun, with a good pacing and difficulty curve. The boss fight was tough only while observing the movements... keep up the great dev work! I wonder what other abilities Lumi will get. :)
How are you supposed to beat the sword when it starts spinning twice? There's no way to fast jump over it, touch the ground, and fast jump again before you get hit.
Wow, I've been so conditioned by other games, that when I see a spinning move, I think I have to jump around it rather than just stand out of range, haha. My brain didn't even notice the short range, it just assumed the beam went off the screen, like in other games.
Maybe for some future game, the "simply walk out of range" move should be some kind of power-up explosion? And rotating beam attacks should be dodgeable if you're fast enough? Just a suggestion.
Regardless, fun game, I'll be watching in the future to see what else you make!
